Part-Time Coordinator III, Learning, Engagement, and Development

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The PT Coordinator III is responsible for supporting the operations and initiatives of the Learning Engagement and Development (LED) department through instructional technology support, resource coordination, professional learning assistance, event and media support, and the development of technology-related training materials and resources for faculty and staff.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains and monitors LED equipment checkout and inventory systems by ensuring accurate tracking of LED resources, supporting check-in/check-out processes, assisting with basic troubleshooting and process improvements in collaboration with leadership, and maintaining inventory records and reports
  • Develops job aids, instructional guides, and basic video tutorials to support faculty and staff in the use of LED-supported technologies and systems
  • Researches and shares information with LED staff regarding emerging instructional technologies, tools, and resources to support departmental awareness and innovation
  • Provides technical support and guidance to faculty and staff regarding commonly used instructional and workplace technologies and assists users in identifying appropriate support resources
  • Affords media and event-related support activities, including photography, event setup, and operational support during LED events and programs
  • Affords assistance in the development of technology-related and instructional resource proposals to support LED initiatives
  • Collaborates with LED staff to support the development and distribution of professional development communications and related materials
  • Supports the maintenance of LED website and SharePoint content by assisting with updates, accuracy, and basic user support
  • Affords assistance in coordinating departmental events and professional development activities, including logistics, materials preparation, and occasional facilitation support
  • Affords operational and administrative support for LED functions during peak periods or staff absences, as assigned
  • Provides on-site support during LED events, activities, and departmental initiatives as needed

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Technical proficiency in major instructional hardware and software, typically developed through job-related training and on-the-job experience
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with common office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and related systems
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and provide training and support to others

Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

  • Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
  • Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
