Part Time Cook / Dietary Aide

About the role

The Villas of Holly Brook-Marshall is hiring a part-time cook / dietary aide.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Dining Services Manager
• Responsible for the Community’s food ordering, preparation, and delivery as well as kitchen sanitation
• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional and appetizing fashion
• Maintain supplies and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred
• Supervisory experience desirable
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations
• Previous experience working with the elderly
• Demonstrate compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
• Meet all health requirements and pass background checks
