Part Time Commissary Associate

About the role

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is seeking a Part Time Commissary Associate to join their team. This position operates out of 5031 Salem Ave, Trotwood, OH, 45426.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for Gordon Food Service Stores while maintaining food safety, sanitation, food quality, and productivity.
• Accurately receive products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.
• Model excellent work ethic, display a sense of urgency and a positive attitude for peers.
• Maintain facility through general maintenance and cleaning activities.
• Comply with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Safely operate power equipment, such as slicing equipment, tow motors and fork lifts where applicable.
• Adhere to the purpose and philosophy of the organization including, but not limited to, the cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• At least 1 year commissary or restaurant experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Essential functions include properly using, cleaning and maintaining equipment to prepare and package product for sale, i.e. juice, sliced deli meat, produce, chicken, sandwiches, etc.
• Essential functions also include accurately receiving products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.
• Essential functions further include maintaining facility through general maintenance and cleaning activities.
• Essential functions additionally include complying with sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of production areas.
• Essential functions also include adhering to operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Essential functions further include safely operating power equipment, such as slicing equipment, tow motors and fork lifts where applicable.
• Essential functions also include adhering to the purpose and philosophy of the organization including, but not limited to, the cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

Pay

$14+/hr (based on experience)

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7:00AM-10:00PM

Holidays Off - We are CLOSED on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter.
