Part-Time College Planning & Admissions Counselor

About the role

We’re hiring part-time senior counselors to join our close-knit, high-performing team. This is not a “build-your-own-practice” role—instead, you’ll join a trusted system with an established meeting cadence, digital planning platforms, and strong communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Work within an established system, following structured processes and using provided digital tools
• Collaborate with a team, embracing feedback and process improvements
• Communicate empathetically with both students and parents
• Guide students through the college application process, including applications for Common App, University of California, and California State University

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a counselor with a strong track record
• Tech-savvy, comfortable using tools like Google Docs, Zoom, Intercom, CRMs, and AI-assisted workflows
• Coachable and collaborative, open to feedback and structured processes
• Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in the college application process
• Primarily available to work with students in the Pacific Standard Time zone

Schedule

Monday through Friday until 7:30 p.m. PST

Pay

$40 - $80 hourly
