About the role

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, and more athletic kids. We accelerate milestones for children aged 6 months to 11 years old. Our mission is to empower kids to become confident and successful in life.

Responsibilities

- Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, covering age groups from 6 months to 11 years old. - Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team. - Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of the curriculum. - Greet students and parents/guardians individually before and during class. - Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor. - Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises. - Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors. - Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents. - Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack. - Work in a physically intensive environment, covering multiple miles in a shift. - Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class. - Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month's curriculum. - Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Academy special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating. - Obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team.

Qualifications

- Passion for working with children. - Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range. - Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum. - Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics. - Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills. - Self-starter who just gets a job done. - 18 years or older.

Pay

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule

Classes typically run weekdays from 9 am to 11 am and evenings until 7 pm, with weekends from 8 am through lunch/noon. A flexible work schedule is available depending on studio needs.
