About the role

We are seeking to hire a part-time (full-time applications are also welcome) clinical psychologist with competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, experience working with a pediatric, adolescent and young adult population. The candidate is also responsible for performing supervisions and recording appointments for pre-licensed therapists working in our practice. The ideal candidate will help set up a program to conduct child and adolescent diagnostic evaluations, evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program.

Major Responsibilities / Activities

  • Complete psychiatric assessment on child & adolescent patient
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provides therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling child & adolescent patients and their families as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management.
  • Perform supervision for our pre-licensed therapists and record their appointments.
  • Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations.
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures.
  • Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation.
  • Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.

Required/Preferred Education And Experience

  • Candidates are required to be licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Have clinical or counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship.
  • Experience with completing psychological evaluations.
  • Familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 Process.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.

Pay

Compensation: 60% of the collected revenues for completed evaluations and $100+ per hour of supervision and recording appointments.
