Part Time Cleaning Staff

Part-time, non-benefits eligible position working up to 8 hours per week. Weekend work may be required. Days and hours are flexible but must be outside normal office hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of workspaces including break room, conference room, waiting room, and hallway (individual office areas and desks excluded)
• Vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Dusting of file cabinets, tables, ledges, shelves, and cleaning of sliding glass window area
• Mopping of the kitchen area floor, bathrooms, break room, and supply area
• Thorough daily cleaning of restrooms (3 within DHHS and 2 in Service Center main public area)
• Emptying wastebaskets and replacing liners when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to perform job duties efficiently within designated time frames
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
• Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

The role is performed in an office setting, typically after hours, with minimal noise levels.

Pay

$20.68 per hour for up to 8 hours per week.
