Part-Time Cleaning Associate

About the role
The Cleaning Associate is responsible for all janitorial cleaning within our office. This evening shift role works independently to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean stains as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, and sinks
- Mop hard surfaces such as stairwells, breakrooms, and bathrooms
- Sanitize desks, counters, cabinets, shelves, and other surfaces
- Clean interior windows
- Empty trash bins and replace liners in all rooms
- Clean kitchen appliances and breakroom refrigerators as needed
- Maintain supply closet and restock as necessary
- Secure the building and set alarms at end of shift
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial and/or residential cleaning experience
- Experience cleaning office or industrial environments preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
- Comfortable working during evening hours and alone
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to provide professional references
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to lock up and secure the facility each evening
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
- Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., cleaning supplies, small equipment)
Preferences
- Experience in janitorial roles within large facilities or offices
Schedule
20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
