Part Time Classroom Paraprofessionals

About the Role

Iron County School District is seeking five Part-Time Classroom Paraprofessionals to support classroom teachers and students at Enoch Elementary. This position will remain open until filled.

• 3 Kindergarten positions – 15 hours per week
• 1 2nd Grade position – 27.5 hours per week
• 1 3rd Grade position – 27.5 hours per week

The Classroom Paraprofessional assists classroom teachers in maintaining an effective learning environment, provides instructional support to students and groups, and performs various classroom management and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional support assistance to students and student groups
• Participates in developing, maintaining, and implementing classroom management systems
• Guides students in working and interacting harmoniously with peers
• Operates office equipment such as computers and copy machines
• Complies with established district policies and procedures
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and job performance

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Google Docs
• Willingness to learn and use all required computer systems and software
• Frequent email communication
