Part-Time Children's Sports/Enrichment Coach (No Experience Required)

About the role

Ashley and her team at Amazing Athletes and Little Medical School are seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join their team of Coaches and Instructors. The ideal candidate will teach the fundamentals of various sports, promote physical fitness, and engage in career-exploration and STEM activities with children of all ages. Classes are conducted at schools and community centers, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Teach fundamental sports skills and promote physical fitness.
• Engage in career-exploration and STEM activities with children.
• Conduct classes at schools and community centers.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience in working with children is a plus (Coaches, educators, babysitters, preschool teachers, day care workers, nursery volunteers, camp counselors, etc.).
• Background in health, fitness, or medicine is a plus (Nursing, healthcare, sports, gymnastics, cheer, martial arts, physical education, kinesiology, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
