About the role

Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by fostering a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
  • Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
  • Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

  • Leading by Example: Model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Skills

  • Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.

Pay

$15.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
