About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
  • Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
  • Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
  • Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

  • Prioritize Safety and Joy: Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe environment for children to explore and grow.
  • Flexibility: Support additional local programs as needed.
  • State-Specific Requirements: Meet all necessary legal and certification requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Minimum of 18 years of age, proof of high school diploma or GED, and pay range based on education and experience ($18-20 per hour).
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Teamwork: Works well in a team environment.

  • Flexibility: Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Pay

$18-20 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday-Friday Split Shift, must be available for both shifts each day. Before School: Tues-Fri 6:30-9:30am, Mon 6:30am-10:30am After School: Mon-Fri 3:45-6pm
