About the role

Educator Right At School provides before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. The mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum that are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Maintain a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Ensure children are enjoying themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Monitor the Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Teamwork: Works well in a team environment.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Lifting Capacity: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility: Willingness to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• New Jersey State Requirements: Meet state-specific requirements.
• Training: First Aid and CPR training.
• Safety: Clear tuberculosis test.
• Education: Proof of High School diploma or GED.

Pay

$16.00-$19.00 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 8:50 AM and 3:29 PM - 6:00 PM
