About the role
Educator Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.
Responsibilities
- Daily Program Meetings: Review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
- Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: Prepare activities and curriculum for the day, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Lead by Example: Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals.
- Monitor Environment: Address potential hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Effective Communication: Communicate with a varied audience, including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Requirements

- Teamwork
- Experience Working with Children Under 13 Years of Age
- Able to Lift 25 lbs
- Flexibility to Support Additional Local Programs
Qualifications
- State-Specific Requirements Met
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Cleared Tuberculosis Test
- Proof of MMR
- At Least 540 Hours Documented Experience in Working with Unrelated Children
- At Least 18 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or GED

Pay
$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 8:35 AM and 3:10 PM - 6:00 PM
