Part Time Child Caregiver: Charleston, SC

As a Caregiver, you’ll be matched with families in your area based on your experience, location, and availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intro calls with each family you're booked with
• Provide childcare in families’ homes, typically an 8‑hour day
• Follow the schedule and rules set by parents
• Perform household duties related to care (cleaning up after meals, dishes, cleaning up after activities)

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Minimum of one weekday availability to work (at least 8 consecutive hours between 6 am‑8 pm)
• Related childcare experience
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 15 miles from your home
• Authorized to work in the United States

Skills

• Adult, Infant, and Pediatric CPR/First Aid (required prior to start date; reimbursement provided)
• Familiarity and ability to use app‑based products and electronic devices
• Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing

Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and frequent bending
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs at one time
• Willingness to work with mildly sick children

Pay

Compensation range: $20 to $24 per hour. The base compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position; actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance.

Schedule

Flexible schedule with a requirement of at least one weekday shift of 8 consecutive hours between 6 am and 8 pm. Mileage reimbursement applies for travel over 40 miles.
