Part-Time Chaplain

About the role

Provide spiritual support to patients, families, staff, and volunteers within a healthcare setting. Develop and implement personalized spiritual care plans based on assessments, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison with local clergy
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Advocate for spiritual needs of patients and families

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field (required for hires after 5/26/2024)
• Bachelor’s degree (acceptable for hires prior to 5/26/2024)
• For hires after 10/1/2024: ordination, good standing with a faith group, and Clinical Pastoral Education (strongly recommended)
• Reliable transportation
• Physical ability to access various care environments
• Compliance with drug testing and background screening

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMR/EHR systems
• Familiarity with healthcare settings
