Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

Rydal Park, a premier Life Plan Community in Jenkintown, is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Medical Center team. With new, lower staff-to-resident ratios, CNAs can focus on high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Actively incorporate Rydal Park's "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care."
• Develop awareness of residents' interests and needs.
• Auxiliary residents in maximizing independence and participation through care ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living to recreational activities.
• Create a safe environment for providing resident care.

Requirements

• Certified Pennsylvania CNA.
• Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred.
• New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
• Basic computer literacy.

Pay

• Pay range: $19 - 21 per hour, base pay, depending on years of licensed CNA experience.
• Shift Differentials: $1 per hour for evening and NOC shifts, and $2 additional per hour for weekend shifts.

Schedule

• Part-Time, 1st Shift, working every Sunday (opportunities to pick up additional shifts).
• Part-Time, 2nd Shift, working every other weekend (opportunities to pick up additional shifts).
• Part-Time, 3rd Shift, working every other weekend (opportunities to pick up additional shifts).
• On-call and per-diem positions available.
