PART TIME CDL SHUTTLE DRIVER

Transport passengers to and from designated locations within the UPS World Port facility. This position requires operating a 40-passenger shuttle bus in a secure, high-traffic environment that includes other moving vehicles and aircraft.

Pay

This position pays from $23 an hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

  • Transport passengers to designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)
  • Inspect shuttle for preexisting damage and record information using electronic device or manual ticket
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinates bus evacuation activities as appropriate
  • Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Refuel vehicle
  • Maintain a clean work environment, disinfecting shuttle after each use
  • Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid CDL - Class A or Class B
  • Must have a Passenger Endorsement
  • Must have Air Brake Endorsements
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • One (1) year of prior work experience as a CDL Driver is required
