Part Time CDL Driver

About the role

We are now hiring a part-time Transit Bus Driver with articulating experience in Rockville, MD, serving Montgomery County Bus Lanes. Transdev offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a minimum wage of $18.00 and a maximum of $22.00, with potential for increases after the 90-day probationary period. Responsibilities

• Safely transports buses.
• Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Moves buses/articulating buses from one location to another.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Experience with articulating buses.
• Subject to a drug screen and physical.

Physical Requirements

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day).
• Frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Bend, kneel, or crouch to file or equipment stored at ground level.
• Tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
