About the role

HomeGoods, part of TJX Companies, is seeking a team member to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience. You will engage with customers, uphold store standards, and support various areas of the store as needed. This position is located at the HomeGoods Store 0502 in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment and adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay

Starting pay range: $13.25 to $13.75 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
