Part-Time Cashiers

About the role

Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for part-time Cashiers to join the Ottsville team.

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM
• One weekend shift and one closing shift per week required

Pay

$16.00+ per hour to start, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years or older

Physical requirements

• Full sensory range (vision, hearing, sense of smell) — ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control, and communicate with customers and co-workers
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects up to 50–75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products
• Stooping, squatting, and kneeling — ability to stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts
• Walking short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas
• Prolonged standing
• Work environment is movement-based with the majority of time in motion (walking and standing) rather than sedentary
• Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods regularly

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting with a smile and individually thanking customers for their business
• Accurately scan customers' groceries and complete all transactions efficiently
• Carefully and efficiently bag groceries
• Respond promptly to customer needs and questions and request assistance when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Manager on Duty
