Part-Time Cashier *Evening Shifts*

Kimberton Whole Foods in Downingtown is seeking a part‑time Cashier to join the team.

Schedule

• Wednesday 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm
• Friday 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm
• Saturday 9:00 am – 3:30 pm
• One weekend shift required per week
• Up to 24 hours per week

Pay

$14.00 – $16.00 per hour to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Accurately scan groceries and complete transactions efficiently.
• Carefully and efficiently bag groceries.
• Perform price checks as needed and restock returned product promptly.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and questions, requesting assistance when necessary to ensure quick checkout.
• Show respect for customers and give great service while maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Manager on Duty.

Requirements

• Full range of senses (vision, hearing, smell) to read labels, distinguish colors, and assess product quality.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects up to 50 lb frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
• Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Ability to walk short distances to retrieve items.
• Prolonged standing.
• Work environment involves frequent movement (walking & standing) rather than sedentary work.
• Ability to work in cold environments (coolers, freezers, back‑stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods.
• Age requirement: 16 years or older.
