Part Time Cashier/Budtender - Bud & Rita's, West Town

About the role

Cashier Staff greet patients on the sales floor and/or at checkout, assist with placing orders, confirm products purchased, and complete sales via cash or card with meticulous attention to detail. The Agent provides excellent care and customer service for all patients and adult-use customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on the sales floor and/or at checkout and verify purchased products
• Keep current with dispensary flow and product inventory
• Complete cash or card sales at the register
• Maintain responsibility for all cash and credit card transactions, inventory, merchandise, and closing drawer numbers
• Perform cash and credit card transactions, issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to patients
• Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper department
• Assist in online product reservations
• Help with daily cash reconciliation
• Keep the dispensary sales floor clean, sanitized, and free of clutter
• Follow all state and federal regulations, including ID verification (IDFPRO)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Six months to one year of sales or POS experience
• Proficient with technology
• Must be able to pass a background check (including Federal background check)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid license or state ID
• Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) software

Physical Qualifications

• Bending and lifting up to 50 pounds independently and 75+ pounds with assistance
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
