Part Time - Cashier

Role: Responsible for operating cash registers, handling financial transactions, weighing and bagging customer purchases, and providing courteous customer service. May assist with stocking and maintaining department cleanliness while adhering to safety, sanitation, and food safety standards. Responsibilities Operate cash register and electronic scanner to process diverse products and payments accuratelyHandle transactions involving cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, and couponsWeigh, bag, and ensure proper product identification and signageCommunicate store programs, promotions, and coupons to customersMaintain a clean, organized department and comply with safety and sanitation protocolsAssist with stocking and other assigned tasks as neededFollow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines, ensuring excellent guest experience Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferredPrior retail experience is a plusStrong verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skillsBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments.
