Part Time Cashier

Cub Foods in White Bear Lake South is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cashier to deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate service while maintaining positive customer relations and expediting order processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly.
• Handle all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges correctly.
• Address customer questions or requests.
• Maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.
• Operate equipment including scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, and calculators.

Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Perform walking, reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions on uneven ground.
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

UNFI anticipates paying the referenced pay rate (or within the pay range) for this position. Actual pay will depend on factors including education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
