Part Time Caregiver

Job Summary

We are urgently hiring compassionate, experienced caregivers for non-medical in-home care positions. Our services range from companionship and personal care to more complex cases for seniors and disabled individuals. About the Role

Visiting Angels Midtown provides in-home care services to seniors and disabled individuals in the local area. We match caregivers with clients based on compatibility and offer various shift options including full-time, part-time, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care to seniors and disabled individuals
• Support clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Assist with medication management and other medical needs
• Engage in social activities and provide emotional support
• Communicate effectively with clients and family members
• Document care activities using electronic visit verification (EVV)

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in-home care
• Aged 18 or older and able to work legally in the US
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a booster dose
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, including bilingual and multilingual capabilities
• Ability to use a smartphone for EVV and caregiver notes
• Pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting
• Negative TB screening within the last 90 days
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry
• Compassionate, understanding, flexible, and willing to help others

Work Location

In-person visits to clients' homes in the local area.

Pay and Hours

$19.00-$21.00 per hour, expected hours of 20-45 per week.
