Part-Time Caregiver

About the role

Home Instead is a family-owned business that provides non-medical care to aging adults. Our mission is to help older adults with daily activities so they can age gracefully and remain safely in their homes for as long as possible.

Responsibilities

• Support seniors with friendly companionship and conversation
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Specialized Alzheimer’s & Dementia care
• Treat clients with dignity, kindness, and respect

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Compassionate nature and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required (paid training provided)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR (training provided)

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
