Part-Time Cardiac Sonographer

About the role

Join a dedicated Cardiac Sonography Team as a Sr. Cardiac Sonographer (PRN) and contribute to exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a community hospital providing inpatient and outpatient cardiac services, with a focus on patient-centered care and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of cardiac tests such as treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, and cardiac doppler
• Serving as a lead and resource for other sonographers
• Assisting with training, credentialing, quality assurance, and case auditing
• Tests are conducted at multiple locations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with sonography experience (2-5 years)
• RDCS or equivalent certification
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Allied Health/Sonography; 5-10 years of experience;

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in cardiac testing procedures
• Leadership in maintaining credentials, quality assurance, and case audits
• Ability to train and support staff
