Part Time Campus Security Officer, Evenings and Weekends

About the role

Campus Security is a non-commissioned position providing security service for college students, faculty and staff as well as facilities, equipment and grounds; a 24-hour security presence on campus by patrolling buildings, parking lots, and roadways; monitoring of the fire and camera system, and other functions as necessary.

Requirements

• High school graduate with at least one-year prior experience in law enforcement (military, police, fire, security, corrections, or auxiliaries).
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to accomplish/perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Able to work the specified schedule.
• Computer literate.
• Possess clean driving record and valid Ohio driver’s license.
• CPR and AED certifications (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).
