Job Overview

Cub Lyndale is seeking a part-time Cake Decorator to join their team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare bakery products
  • Stock, rotate, and display bakery products
  • Adequately stock product and decorating supplies
  • Perform cleaning duties
  • Assist with department merchandising
  • Answer customer questions or requests

Job Requirements

  • Operate equipment (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
  • Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods
  • On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
  • Good judgment required for situations without immediate supervision
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
  • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Walking on uneven ground
  • Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
  • Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
