Part Time - Business - Adjunct Instructor
Job Description And Position Requirements
Penn State Brandywine, located in Media, PA, seeks part-time Instructors of Business starting in Fall 2025. Penn State Brandywine shares several of its Business-related courses with other Penn State campuses, so ideal candidates should be open to teaching using traditional, hybrid, and online delivery methods. Some classes may be evening classes.
Job Duties
May teach courses in our Business and/or Project and Supply Management programs. Possible courses include introductory and intermediate subjects like: Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Database Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Systems.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Experience using Excel and other business software/technology is desired.
- Candidates with experience in relevant professional fields and industry settings, and those with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level will be given preference.
- The requirements for the opening include the minimum of an earned master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related disciplines from an accredited institution.
Background Checks/Clearances
Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
