Part Time Building Services Worker - Rock Eagle 4-H Center

About the role

This regular, non‑benefits eligible part‑time position (FTE 0.49) performs manual custodial care of Rock Eagle 4‑H Education Center cottages, buildings, and facilities, including cleaning and minor maintenance work. The incumbent works without close supervision, follows established routines, and is responsible for the effective use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and caring for building areas and cottages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cottages/buildings for guest arrival and use – sweep, mop, scrub floors, dust and clean furniture, wash windows, walls, trash cans, and glass doors (≈80% of time).
• Clean public areas, restrooms, and drinking fountains.
• Replenish supplies in supply closets.
• Empty trash and sweep outside walkways and porches.
• Operate vacuums, wet vacuums, shampooer, and other floor machines.
• Complete setup of meeting facilities by arranging tables and chairs according to guest requirements (≈10% of time).
