Part-Time Breast Imager
About the role
Consulting Radiologists, Ltd (CRL) is seeking a board-certified/eligible breast imager to join our dynamic, cohesive, and collegial breast imaging team. This position allows the candidate to work 100% in breast imaging during the weekday at the Piper Breast Center, located in Abbott Northwestern Hospital in downtown Minneapolis. The Piper Breast Center is a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designated by the ACR and accredited by the NABCP for high-quality, patient-centered cancer care.
Our radiologist also rotates through the Piper Breast Center at the West Health campus in Plymouth, Minnesota, and works at the CRL Woman’s Imaging Center in Edina, Minnesota, which is likewise a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the ACR. This opportunity offers engagement with the latest technology and a diverse case mix, including:
- Hologic mammography units with 3D imaging
- High volume of screening and staging breast MRIs
- Upright stereotactic-guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and MRI-guided biopsies
- Localizations performed with magnetic seed or wire
Schedule
Part-time, independent contractor position for 2-3 days per week (Monday–Friday).
Qualifications
- ABR Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Eligible for licensure in MN, ND, SD, and WI
- Must meet MQSA criteria
- Breast Imaging fellowship preferred
