About the Role

We are seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to join our distribution network. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout NMG’s facility by loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, and transporting items to and from the loading platform. This position involves operating material-handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and motorized conveyors, as well as accurately completing tasks like sorting, staging, transporting, and preparing products for shipment. The role is physically demanding, requiring frequent standing, lifting, carrying, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
• Spend the majority of time standing, lifting, carrying products, and climbing ladders to stock shelves.
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Some overtime work may be scheduled and required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer skills, including the ability to check email and complete online training courses.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Effective communication with co-workers to meet customer requirements.
• Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 is preferred.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–5:00 PM.
