About the role
A highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Box Office Employee. This role is essential in providing a positive first impression for our fans, ensuring a smooth and efficient ticketing experience. You will be a key point of contact, helping to create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere for every home game.
Responsibilities
- Process ticket sales for games using a computerized ticketing system
- Handle credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist fans with ticket inquiries, exchanges, and will-call pick-ups
- Provide clear and concise information regarding game schedules, seating, pricing, and venue policies
- Resolve customer service issues and ticketing discrepancies with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the box office area before and after games
- Collaborate with other gameday staff to ensure a seamless fan experience
- Perform other duties as assigned to support box office operations
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications, or a willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Reliable and punctual, with consistent availability to work Fargo Force home games, which include evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- A passion for sports, particularly hockey, is a plus
