Part-time Bilingual Teller

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and disbursing cash or check share withdrawals.
• Processes cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, gift cards, and discount tickets.
• Maintains privacy of member account information and actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services.
• Ensures the work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
• Performs drive-up service and night drop functions as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least six months cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures.
• Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including adding machine, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, and telephone.
• Good typing skills.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school graduate or equivalent.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures. Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least six months cash handling experience.
