Part-Time Beauty Sales - Charlotte Tilbury - Downtown Seattle

About the role

As a part-time beauty sales associate at Nordstrom's downtown Seattle store, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing customers' beauty experiences. You will engage customers to understand their needs, recommend products, and maximize sales in on-trend and luxury beauty brands.

Responsibilities

- Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer beauty goals. - Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers. - Set and achieve sales goals, utilizing selling tools such as text and social media. - Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services. - Keep the department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness. - Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through provided trainings. - Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and encourage new Nordstrom Rewards program account openings.

Requirements

- Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare. - Excellent ability to connect with customers, handle customer concerns, and foster a positive team environment. - Empathy and respect for all customers, ensuring a supportive environment during makeup and skincare application. - Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow-through skills. - Drive to achieve sales goals, with interest in using networking and technology. - Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. - Physical Requirements: Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Handling bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous retail experience preferred. - Knowledge of beauty trends, makeup, and skincare.

- Proficiency in using selling tools (text and social media). - Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
