Part-Time Beach & Pool Attendant (Tues to Thurs 9a-1p & Fri to Sat 8:30a - 5p/ Palm Beach)

Location: Palm Beach, FL 33480

Pay

$18/hr

Schedule

• Tuesday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Friday to Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday and Monday: Off

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements.
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.
• Submits and reports incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Picks up debris from the pool and performs basic cleaning tasks.
• Checks sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guest use.
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager for replacement.
• Works as a team member and remains accessible and approachable to residents/guests.
• Follows the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carries out related procedures.
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Completion of college-level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time.
• Walk and climb stairs; handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
• Navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
