Part-Time Beach & Pool Attendant (Sun & Mon 8:30a-5p, Tues to Thurs 1p-5p/ Palm Beach)

Location: Palm Beach, FL 33480

Pay

$18/hr

Schedule

• Sun & Mon: 8:30a–5p
• Tues to Thurs: 1p–5p
• Fri & Sat: OFF

Responsibilities

• Oversees pool area (adult/children) and makes safety announcements
• Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed
• Submits and reports incidents to the appropriate manager
• Picks up debris from the pool and performs basic cleaning tasks
• Checks sports equipment to ensure it is in order for guest use
• Reports broken sports equipment to the manager for replacement
• Works as a team member and remains accessible and approachable to residents/guests
• Follows Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and related procedures
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Completion of college-level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Multiple language fluency is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
• Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
• Walk and climb stairs
• Handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
• Reach with hands and arms
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing
• Navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner
