About the role
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our collaborative team at Children With Opportunity. Our clinic offers comprehensive and integrated therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders.
Responsibilities
- Identify, provide and create opportunities for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT) and other team members to provide high quality ABA and therapeutic services.
- Provide parent support and coaching to families in the ABA program, and actively engage in routine parent meeting sessions as part of treatment collaboration.
- Provide program oversight for patients.
- Conduct behavioral and skills assessments as required by funding sources, and as needed based on data analyses.
- Develop behavior intervention plans and individual treatment plans/programming; revise as required by funding sources, and as needed based on data analyses.
- Complete initial evaluations for potential patients.
- Attend monthly team meetings for collaboration and case review.
- Provide training and supervision to RBTs.
- Complete RBT competency assessments.
- Ensure supervision hours of RBTs meet the requirements of the BACB.
- Build and maintain positive family/caregiver relationships throughout the lifecycle (course of treatment) of the patient.
- Complete regularly scheduled parent trainings.
- Meet with the parents/caregivers to review progress and collaborate on development of individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (i.e., at start of services, prior to authorization request).
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Masters degree or above
- Licensed in the state of Missouri
- Current Certification
- Criminal Background Check
- Experience working with families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric population
- Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability
