Part Time - Barista

Role Overview: This position involves preparing coffee beverages and food items, operating a cash register, and providing courteous customer service in a retail environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare coffee drinks, brew, mix, or blend beverages per standards.Prepare food items following established procedures.Ensure safe handling of food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.Operate cash register, processing payments via various methods.Stock and rotate merchandise displays, ensuring product availability.Maintain knowledge of store programs, product locations, and equipment operation.Notify management of supply needs and adhere to security and cash handling policies.Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Communicate store promotions and provide excellent customer service.Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines; may assist in other departments as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience in retail or related fields is a plus.Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.Organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in varied environments.
