Part-Time Barista

About the Role

This position involves preparing coffee and food items, operating the cash register, and delivering courteous customer service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages and food following set standards and procedures.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and handle transactions securely.
• Stock, rotate, and maintain cleanliness of the department and merchandise displays.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and food safety standards are met.
• Communicate store programs, promotions, and loyalty details to customers.
• Assist with inventory needs and notify management of supplies.
• Support other departments as needed and adhere to safety and PPE guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of retail or related experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic literacy and arithmetic skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments.
