About the Role
The Barista is responsible for providing friendly, efficient customer service in a coffee shop setting, handling customer orders, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Greet customers and assist with product selection
- Take orders and prepare food and beverages
- Replenish food and beverage supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Operate registers and manage inventory
- Support store functions as needed
Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent
- Up to six months of related experience
- Physical ability to perform medium work, including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety, customer service, and teamwork
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in-store, with exposure to noise, cleaning chemicals, and temperature variations. The role requires physical activities such as standing, walking, reaching, and handling equipment.
