Part Time Bakery Wrapper

About the role

Cub Northfield is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time bakery clerk position. Bakery clerks provide wrapping, stocking and customer service support for the department, helping meet daily sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and wrap bakery product
• Stock, rotate and face bakery product
• Perform clean up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

Requirements

• Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Ongoing customer interaction – provide prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment required; may work without immediate supervision
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Physical requirements: lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs; walking on uneven ground; reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions; extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Schedule
