About the Role
Responsible for responding to and correcting fault conditions within the BHS System with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in clearing baggage handling system jams
- Support technicians with basic maintenance such as cleaning and greasing
- Complete safety training and comply with safety policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills (email, training access)
- Strong communication, responsibility, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work well with diverse personalities and follow safety procedures
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks
- Work in airport areas with dust, noise, machinery, and varying temperatures, using PPE as needed
- Visual and hearing acuity required
Additional Notes
- Must obtain and maintain an airport security badge
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Must adhere to drug and alcohol policies
