About the role

We are seeking a responsible and energetic babysitter to assist as a mother's helper in Portland, ME, starting June 29, 2026. This role is perfect for a responsible teen, college student, or nanny looking for extra hours, who enjoys spending time with young children.

Responsibilities

• Entertaining and playing with a 3-year-old girl
• No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties
• Some interaction with a 5-month-old boy (mother handles feeding and naps)
• Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm, totaling 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours

Requirements

• Childcare experience
• Ability to interact with young children
• Flexibility with work hours

Compensation

Compensation ranges from $17-20/hr, depending on experience.
