Part-Time Babysitter for Toddler

We are seeking a warm and dependable babysitter for our 13‑month‑old daughter in the Mueller area of Austin. The role includes occasional house and dog sitting, with clear expectations, advance planning, and reliable, on‑time payment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage in playtime with the infant.
• Prepare and serve dinner as needed.
• Provide bath time assistance.
• Handle bedtime routine when required.
• During overnight house/dog sitting, care for two dogs (a black Lab and a Shiba Inu) by feeding, providing twice‑daily outdoor breaks, and offering companionship.

Requirements

• Hands‑on experience with infants or young toddlers.
• Attentive, patient, and comfortable around dogs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide childcare references.

Pay

• Babysitting: $30 per hour.
• Overnight house/dog sitting: $140 per day.

Schedule

• Babysitting 2–4 weeknights per month, typically a few hours between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
• Occasional overnight house/dog sitting about five times per year.
