Part-Time Babysitter for Preschooler

About the role

We are seeking a kind, dependable, and engaging part-time babysitter to care for our energetic and curious four-year-old daughter in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and safe environment to engage our preschooler while I work from home.
• Engage her in play, reading, crafts, and age-appropriate educational activities.
• Prepare simple breakfast and lunch.
• Absorb and assist her in tidying up after activities.
• Be comfortable taking the lead independently while I work in a dedicated home office.

Requirements

• Comfortable around pets (our family has a small elderly American Eskimo dog).
• Genuinely enjoy building a connection with one child.

Qualifications

• Reliable and interested in a long-term relationship.

Pay

$16 - $18 per hour
