Part-Time Babysitter for Infant

About the role

We are seeking a warm and patient babysitter for our almost‑one‑year‑old daughter in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area.

Schedule

The position is for 2–4 days per week, ideally 3 full days from Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility on exact hours and days.

Responsibilities

• Feeding the child
• Contact napping (holding her for naps if needed)
• Building trust and providing patient, warm care
• Engaging a spirited, curious, playful toddler
• No driving or bedtime tasks required

Requirements

• Experience with babies and toddlers, especially those who are spirited or sensitive
• Warm, patient, and reliable
• Comfortable with contact napping
• Proximity to the 27712 area is preferable
• Duke students with childcare experience are welcome, but all warm and reliable candidates are considered

Additional notes

We have a nine‑year‑old mixed dog who is friendly after initial barking. More details about our routine and expectations will be provided upon connection.
