Compensation

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Summary

Promotes Aztec Store sales by providing high quality customer service; demonstrates knowledge of products and services; is responsive to customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets customers and offers assistance according to standard procedures.
• Answers inquiries, provides information and interacts with customers according to established guidelines.
• Answers telephone inquiries and correctly reroutes calls when appropriate.
• Maintains clean work area and equipment.
• Uses interpersonal skills to build customer confidence.
• Maintains positive working relationship with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Affords assistance to other departments as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED plus at least one year retail/customer service experience.
• Minimum Qualifications or Standards Required to Perform Essential Job Functions: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to operate cash registers.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand for prolonged hours; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 35 pounds.
